What you actually do
Twelve original heroes
Every hero has a different basic attack, signature special and passive — from Arachnyx's web dash to Titan's rage smash and Wildcard's ricochet barrage.
A boss every five waves
Waves ramp up through four arenas, and each fifth wave sends a boss-tier villain with its own attack pattern and guaranteed loot.
Upgrade mid-run
Level up during a run and choose one of three upgrade cards: more health, faster boots, extra projectiles, shorter cooldowns and more.
Temporary weapons
Grab dropped weapons like the Laser Rifle, Energy Sword, Freeze Ray or Rocket Launcher for a limited number of shots.
Solo, CPU partner or online co-op
Run alone, bring a CPU teammate, or share a six-character room code and team up with up to three friends online.
Coins that carry over
Coins earned in a run bank permanently, so you keep unlocking heroes and Hero Lab boosts between sessions.
