Best Hero and Weapon Combinations in Hero Havoc
Weapons from crates fire alongside your hero's own basic attack, so the best pairings cover a gap in the hero's kit. These are strategy recommendations based on each hero's real stats.
Laser Rifle: for heroes without pierce
Arachnyx, Starborn, Flamewing and Wildcard all fire projectiles that stop at the first monster. The Laser Rifle's 60 piercing shots fill that gap. It is also the most forgiving weapon in general, because its fast fire rate works while you keep moving.
Energy Sword: for heroes who can stand close
Freeze Ray: for fast or fragile heroes
Slowing monsters by half makes hit-and-run heroes much safer. Thunderborn and Starborn love it. It also keeps monsters inside Starborn's Heat Trail longer and in Hydro's control zone.
Rocket Launcher: for controllers
Rockets deal 60 damage plus splash, but only 18 shots. Heroes that bunch monsters together get the most from each rocket: Hydro's Tidal Burst, Flamewing's Inferno Gust and Warden's straight-line beams leave clusters waiting for a splash hit.
Five standout combos
Hydro + Rocket Launcher: shove into a pile, then rocket the pile. Titan + Energy Sword: the ultimate close-range tank. Arachnyx + Laser Rifle: fixes the lowest base damage on the roster. Thunderborn + Freeze Ray: slowed monsters never catch the fastest hero. Flamewing + Laser Rifle: piercing bolts plus burning fireballs.
