How to beat Sand Colossus
Sand Colossus has the biggest body of the early bosses and the hardest hits. Stay at range, use pierce weapons like the Laser Rifle so you damage it and any adds in the same line, and never walk between it and a wall.

About the boss
Sand Colossus guards wave 10 with 1,750 health and the hardest hits of the early bosses at 22 damage. It drops 180 coins and 230 XP. Its two patterns punish standing still: grit sprays that fill space and an underground ambush that targets your position.
Attacks and mechanics
Sandstorm
Spiral sprays of grit fan out while it stalks the hero.
Burrow and erupt
It sinks into the sand and erupts under the hero.
How to avoid its attacks
- Rotate with the spiral rather than against it so gaps open in front of you.
- The moment it sinks, keep moving — the eruption lands where you were standing.
- Avoid fighting near walls so you can always move away from an eruption.

Top speed makes the eruption easy to escape.
Fast movement and Fluid Form slip through the sandstorm.
Best weapons
Laser Rifle's piercing bolts hit the Colossus and any adds in the same line. Rocket Launcher is excellent while it surfaces.

Quick Boots is the standout card for this fight; Hero Vitality cushions its heavy hits.

- Standing still to shoot during the burrow.
- Fighting in a corner.
