How to beat Volt Tyrant
Volt Tyrant is the fastest boss and closes distance quickly. Freeze Ray is close to a hard counter here — the slow buys you the seconds you need. Use your special the moment your health drops below half, not after.

About the boss
Volt Tyrant is the fastest boss in Hero Havoc, with 1,900 health and 21 damage per hit, worth 190 coins and 240 XP. Its attacks paint warnings on the floor before they land, so the fight rewards reading the arena. After its Overcharge burst it burns out and is briefly stunned — the best damage window in the fight.
Attacks and mechanics
Lightning Lines
Warning strips appear on the floor, then snap into lightning strikes.
Energy Cage
Electric pillars ring part of the arena, cutting off escape routes.
Overcharge
A rapid burst of bolts; afterwards its core burns out and it is stunned.
How to avoid its attacks
- Step off warning strips immediately — they become strikes a moment later.
- Leave the area as soon as cage pillars begin to appear.
- During Overcharge, keep distance and move sideways to the bolts.
Best heroes against Volt Tyrant
Speed, armor and regeneration handle a long, mobile fight.
Melee damage is perfect for the post-Overcharge stun window.
Meteor Flare lands huge damage when the Tyrant is stunned.
Best weapons
The Freeze Ray's slow buys valuable seconds against the fastest boss. Rocket Launcher is ideal during the stun window.
Recommended upgrades
Quick Boots and Focus Core; your special is most useful when the Tyrant is stunned.
